Ennis Mart – Cattle Prices – 11-10-2022

According to a spokesperson for Ennis Mart, just over 1,150 lots crossed the scales at its most recent cattle sale on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022.

The spokesperson reported that “trade held pretty solid for bulls, with farmers active and more shipping activity”.

“Farmers and agents were active in the heifer ring. Quality heifers were a fine trade, but the average light heifer was harder work.”

“Runner heifers made to €800, and runner bulls sold to €1,000.  Again, a large selection in the suckler ring with pairs hitting €3,420 and in-calf lots made to €2,180.”
