Castlerea Mart – 19-05-2022 – Cattle Prices
According to Brendan Egan, over 600 lots passed through the rings at Castlerea Mart on Thursday, May 19th, 2022.
The mart manager reported that trade in all three rings remained buoyant with forward cattle, in particular, reaching some “very high” prices.
The bullock ring saw prices peak at €2,320, while heifers reached €1,880 and cull cows topped out at €2,810.
