Castlerea Mart report – cattle prices – 05-08-2021
According to Brendan Egan, Castlerea Mart’s general cattle sale on Thursday, August 5th, 2021, attracted over 600 entries.
The mart manager reported that numbers increased for the time of year.
“A large entry of cows with calves at foot with a good clearance taking place. Trade has remained strong with plenty of demand from farmers, agents, and Northern Ireland buyers sourcing stock.”
